Finishing up in fine style with our man @elliotts_trentlife and this absolute unit of a Trent Barbel that just happens to be his new PB! “Bank times been pretty sparse of late, managed to rack up 18hrs spread over 3 sessions which had produced one splasher but “Hey Ho” they say good things come to those who wait……🤞 So back out for another 5 hour sesh with nothing to report until the final hour when i was alerted to a series of slow bleeps on the inside rod, “f*ckin leaves” was my first thought, id already adjusted sensitivities, so i peeled my arse off me bucket and stood beside the rods ready to do a retrieve but there was a pause for 7 or 8 seconds, then the tip started to pull over, lifting into it and the curve just progressed through the entire rod down to the butt, definitely not leaves, more like the royal oak as it roared off😅…. this felt a gooden and i couldn’t be losing it that was for sure! After a good 10 minutes and a spirited battle under the tip she was subdued and resting up ready for a weigh in and photo shoot. The scales settled at 16lb 12oz making this a long overdue and new PB for me….happy days🥳 A paste wrapped T.H.C.
