Here’s what happened! “I did quite well on the match over the weekend catching 2 x A-Team members in the shape of Angry Annie at just 1oz short of 33lb and the C-Scale Common at a 37lb 10oz! – a new PB for me! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I backed these up with a 26lb common and 3 more 20lb mirrors (6 in total) I also lost a fish in the weed. 18mm C.K.O. and 16mm Insecto-Morph boilies glugged with the matching glug and 16mm C.K.O. Wafter on the hook. I finished the match with 165lb of fish taking first place (over 100lb clear of 2nd place) and beat the record again. Taking the penultimate spot is one of my good mates Paul Bowen. Now this is a chap that always views his cup of life as at least half full, he puts a heck of an effort into his fishing, so to finally see him lift a new PB really is wonderful!
