Finishing up with our good friend @forderjames with a superb session at his local private members water! After breaking his PB last week with the awesome Broken Lin, he had a high benchmark to reach, with only 1 fish currently bigger to catch. The full moon worked its magic, along with a heady combination of our C.K.O. & T.H.C. Baits, to bring the beautiful “Pam” (named after our Nigel’s late mum) to the net for the first time since her stocking, at a very respectable 36lb 8oz, and makes both a new PB and lake record! As is often the way, a good session can convert into a great session, the next fish to grace his net was the old lady of the lake, “2 Tone” at 33lb on the nose! These two fat ladies were backed up by a a superb mirror of 29lb and a 25lb Common! It’s always a good day with a catch report from our good mate and resident Ribble wrangler @nickincefishing however the wind caught hold of him and he somehow ended up at the mighty A1 Pits stretch of the Trent! Now, if you’ve been following us, we made a custom bait recipe for Nick, and he’s pretty much emptied the Ribble using it, so it was interesting to see how it would fair on the Trent.
