Rounding off this raft of reports is our man @andyriley1969 and a new Carpy PB! “Started my Carp season this evening after work, wanted to beat my current PB 19lb 11oz of this season. Just fished 6 hours on a local club water, fished Hydroshrimp Cranberry Shellfish Cocoon with a small PVA mesh bag of chopped up matching bollies and 6mm pellets. Just as it was going dark, my right hand rod tore off, great battle took me everywhere! Next up with an absolute submarine is customer Steve Stores! A superb brace of carp, both Grass and Common took a fancy to our most carefully crafted of Hookbaits, the Boosted Cocoon Specials, in this case the amazing Hydroshrimp Cranberry Shellfish! The common took the scales round to 36lb, whilst the previously un caught Grass Carp knocked the needle all the way to a colossal 44lb! Next up is our man @tonypoxon and his superstar son “Ultramix” Harry with a tale of 2 halves! “My Harry and I had a couple of hours after tea, by the water and managed a fish apiece. Harry’s was the Linear, snaffling a B.P.T. Wafter over pellets, weighing 17lb 10oz, whilst I managed the chunky Common on a Nut “7” Popup over pellets and weighed 16lb 8oz! The following evening went like this: “Well he’s done it again! After a mega evening yesterday, we raced off for another cast at the sun! A 12mm Tutti-Frutti Citrus Airball Popup, similar spot to yesterday, though this time armed with his 6’ Scope Rod! A superb 18lb Common for my boy, with a very distinctive Moon Scale on one side near its dorsal! Good evening all and a very Happy Friday! It’s been another busy one here at HQ, we had quite a run on Boilies and so have been scrambling to get the freezers full again! We’ve some super reports to help kick start the weekend, beginning with our good mate @leslie.woodwood and what can only be described as a plethora of fish! Les partook in the yearly Carp Match at Moorgreen Reservoir, and not only did he win, but he set a new match record with a winning weight of 112lb 15oz! The impressive haul was topped by a-team member “Angry Annie” at 31lb 10oz, along with a further 5 stunners! A combination of C.K.O. & Coconut Supreme Boilies did the trick!
