We had been toying with the idea of producing not only Catfish baits in a range that no one had done before, but also tentatively starting to produce some shelf life Boilie products.
Here we are, with the first, the Ultra-Marine Halibut Boilie!
The meaning behind “Ultra-Marine” comes from the latin “Beyond the Sea” which marries up to our goal to bring ingredients from beyond the sea, to our factory, and ultimately onto your hook!
The Ultra-Marine Boilie fills a void, and is so beautifully simplistic in it construction, but as always with any Vortex Baits product, it has been turned up to “11”!
The bait is made from:
Premium Marine Halibut Meal at verging on 70%!
Soluble Fish protein Concentrate
Finely Powdered Blood
Fresh Eggs (cracked by hand!)
Natural preservatives at just enough levels to produce a shelf life product that is so fresh in appearance you would think its a freezer bait!
The flavour profile is such a paradox, being both subtle and loud at the same time, with the colour from both the blood & Halibut meal producing a wonderful dark, dusky, deep brown.
The primary goal of this bait is to target Catfish, but we have produced this Limited run of 14mm & 16mm Barrels to allow you to target Carp, Barbel & other Coarse Species!
