Wafters

Wafters are a critically balanced hook bait, being neither a bottom bait or a pop up.

Our Wafters are produced by blending a combination of sinking base mix and airball popup mix, blended together at precisely calculated levels.

The end result is a slow sinking, critically balanced hook bait, that will react in a natural manner similar to a free offering in the water, when investigated or disturbed by fish.

On occasions the Wafter hook bait my well be taken first.

The rigs components are critical for the Wafter bait, to work in unison with the rig, slight adjustments may have to be made if the bait is too buoyant or weighted down too much, which may indicate that the mechanics of the rig are incorrect.

Glugging / flavouring or over coating of Wafters, with any liquid can result in the baits natural buoyancy being greatly affected, hindering the baits capabilities to work efficiently, for this reason we make sure that our wafters are flavoured throughout the bait during the manufacturing process, rather than simply over spraying with flavouring.

Our Wafter range of baits are only available in matching colours as the bottom baits.
